Metal Macbeth

(Stunned silence. Jaw agape. I can't even blink.) You are reading that correctly - Shakespeare's seminal play Macbeth...

in a metal musical adaptation.

I suppose if Kurosawa made a feudal Japanese version of the same play, and Arthur Laurents adapted the Veronese Juliet for a Puerto Rican played by a WASP (Natalie Wood), a headbanger's ball of royal come-uppance isn't totally uncalled Wait. METAL MACBETH! Who's the genius/idiot who came up with that?

Watch a clip.

(Thanks for the heads up, Nate.)
